As part of a Directed Research Group at the University of Washington, I began researching AI-powered healthcare networks across the US and their potential implications on health outcomes in rural communities.
As part of a Directed Research Group at the University of Washington, I began researching AI-powered healthcare networks across the US and their potential implications on health outcomes in rural communities.
For this project, I performed a literature review (25 papers), using R I loaded and cleaned publicly available data (e.g., USDA, CDC, and NHANES), then I ensured confounds were controlled (e.g., social factors, such as poverty and SES), and finally created several plots in R (e.g., choropleth and regression analyses).
