Project Overview

A virtual research study that employed the use of surveys, behavioral tasks, observational methods, and thematic analysis.

As a research assistant, I wore many hats:

  • Recruited participants and scheduled initial pre-assessments.
  • Tracked recruitment using Excel.
  • Recorded observations during behavioral tasks with participants.
  • Modified research protocols with WebEx, updated behavioral tasks used during sessions, and updated Qualtrics surveys.
  • Presented preliminary findings at Georgia State University's Psychology Research Conference in 2023—used R for data analysis and poster generation.

  • Project Timeline: I joined the project in January 2023 and left in January 2024.
  • Team: Leaf Lab & FEELINGS Lab at GSU.
  • Results: During my time working on this study, our results were inconclusive.
