SHAPE JOY
A developmental psychopathology study to extend the period which empathic joy is experienced by children.
Project Overview
A virtual research study that employed the use of surveys, behavioral tasks, observational methods, and thematic analysis.
As a research assistant, I wore many hats:
- Recruited participants and scheduled initial pre-assessments.
- Tracked recruitment using Excel.
- Recorded observations during behavioral tasks with participants.
- Modified research protocols with WebEx, updated behavioral tasks used during sessions, and updated Qualtrics surveys.
- Presented preliminary findings at Georgia State University's Psychology Research Conference in 2023—used R for data analysis and poster generation.
